The box has 7-inch entrance hole allowing easy access in and out. Additionally, this Barred Owl Box is designed as one room, which allows the owls to easily nest inside. Also designed with an 2" overhanging roof allows additional protection from the elements. The special "grip" grooves on the outer front underneath the entrance hole help the adult owl gain access to the box. No perches exist outside of the box as to protect young owlets from predators. Easy access for clean out, natural linseed oil finish.
Includes one bag of pine shavings to line the bottom of the box, making it more appealing to Barred Owls.
